A Big Faith with Big Dreams

Revelations 3:20 Behold I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door I will come in.

What are the steps to Achieving Big?

1: Thinking Big

Think big means thinking beyond your situation : Benjamin Carson was was a boy growing up in the Detroit ghetto. He struggled to make ends meet, but he never lost focus on being the best he could be. Throughout high school he worked on being at the top of his class, and eventually received a scholarship to Yale University graduating with honors. Not looking back he looked straight to become a neurosurgeon at Michigan Medical School. He didn’t let his circumstance dictate how big he would think.

Thinking big means not settling for average: A girl growing up was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a teenage single mother and later raised in an inner-city Milwaukee neighborhood. She experienced considerable hardship during her childhood, claiming to be abused at 14. Her name was Oprah Winfrey. Some people think that she makes an impact because of her money. I want to tell you that it is not money, but attitude that she will not settle for average. That drive to be the best has made her into a voice that has shaped America.

2: Having a Supernatural Faith

Moses and the children of Israel were in a grew situation leaving Egypt with not food, and facing the mighty Red Sea.

First step to having a supernatural faith: Don’t turn back

Many of the former slaves talked about turning back when they looked at the grim situation. They said they were better off in Egypt, because (At least they had water and food) and some did turn back. But a have you know the water divided and the sea became dry land. That is a supernatural faith for those who stayed the course.

Answer the door: Peter was thrown in prison from King Harod’s wrath for teaching about Jesus dying for their sins. A servant girl prayer extra hard for his release, while many doubted the real possible. One day she heard a knock at the door, and she thought she heard Peter. All of the people in the prayer meeting said we know you wish he was released we all do but you are just dreaming. She opened the door and everyone was amazed. That’s a supernatural faith.

3: Don’t set limits why? You will not see the most God has to offer.

Pastor John Jenkins preached a few weeks ago on running with the horses and said (In human terms humans cannot compete with horses , strong, fast, enduring, long lasting.) But, God will help you not only run with the horses but win the race. And God is already a triple crown winner (The father, son, and the holy ghost) And Jesus looking upon them saith," With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible."--Jesus (Mark 10:27)

You can achieve Big Dreams just open the door, because Jesus is standing there waiting with all power in his hands.
